The K-FAST is designed to determine performance in reading and mathematics. It helps assess a person’s capacity to function effectively in society. Performance on the Arithmetic and Reading Subtests and the Functional Academic Skills Composite can be interpreted using standard scores M=100, SD=15. The K-FAST was normed on a representative sample of 1,424 people. All items were checked for cultural bias. Percentile ranks and descriptive categories are provided as additional aids to interpretation.
